Each journal is cut, embossed, and hand stitched by our artisan partners in India, families we have worked with for over a decade. The leather is finished with natural vegetable dyes, so its undertone shifts a little from season to season, and no two covers age the same way. Inside is 120 gsm tree-free cotton paper, handmade from cotton pulp, stitched permanently into the spine.
The string tie holds the journal closed in a bag, marks your page between entries, and takes a charm or two if your travels tend to leave souvenirs.
